Köln. AKA: Cologne. A swingin' city with lots going on. We literally blew in and out again. Didn't have much time to hang out after the gig at the MTC Club, which was too bad because our friends Brian and Antje came all the way from Amsterdam to see us, although we all got to have a few drinks backstage along with Koln native Tanya. But alas, we knew we had a 10 hour drive to Ebensee the next morning, and I don't have to tell you how much fun that was, with 6 of us and gear in our tiny little van. I can still feel my knees on my chin.
Matt's Journal: Signs of fatigue are really starting to set in tonight. A fine night for our record label, Trocadero, to show up.

We all must have looked half awake as we met in person for the first time. After we set our gear up, some of us went back to the hotel for a shower and shave. I remember not seeing any soap and shampoo in the bathroom and getting all pissy with the poor girl at the front desk. I stomp down there to pick some up, but when I got back to my room, there was soap and shampoo right on the sink that I had just overlooked. Do I need some sleep or what? I felt like such an idiot that I had planned on apologizing to the girl when we got up at the crack of dawn the next morning, but wound up trying to hide my head in my shoulders as we left for our long-ass drive. Pretty smooth, eh?
