Leipzig. We played at a club called NATO, which doesn't mean it was THE NATO - we're not rock ambassadors. There was a separate performance room from the bar, which served up the best beer we had the entire trip. After the show we all hung out into the wee hours of the morning with Mephisto Radio's Nancy and internet magazine writer Kyle, playing songs on the acoustic guitar and getting really silly, even though we had to be back at the club at some ungodly hour of the morning to move our gear out. Not even the potent German coffee seemed to help.

Matt's Journal::.: They fed us an excellent catered meal - I don't eat this well at home. I had fish, leeks, and potatoes with a heavenly tartar sauce. There was also a vegie dish, made with some sort of tofu shaped into cruchy nuggets, a lot like, um, dogfood. It made me see our little stage prop in a different light. James let me have some of his and it was excellent - too good for even the most spoiled dog. During the show I was shakey from exhaustion and too much coffee, but this was a good crowd and a good show. Even though we were tired, we still couldn't help staying up all night just hanging out.
