tour 2000
Hung over morning: Waiting for our more hung over hosts to open up.

I tried to take a drum-cam pic for every show.

Brian enthusiastically serves up the band biers.

Tuttlingen. Yes, getting there was half the fun. We had a beautifully scenic drive through the snowy mountains, complete with white and green pine trees and people out cross country skiing. James did a fine driving job in his grandma shades, even though there were some dangerous turns that could dump you off the side of a mountain if you weren't paying attention (no guard rails). The locals would take these at some 60mph, or however many "clicks" that is. But thankfully James' shades reflected his driving style.

Matt's Journal: Later into the night and after the show at the Rittergarten, owner Thomas and other friends get up at the piano and start singing old German songs. The bier was flowing, and some of the band joined in and jammed along. The cops them came in to enforce a curfew or something, shining their big flashlight into Thomas' face and speaking in hushed German. They leave, people sit quietly and drink for awhile. Then the ruckess starts up again. Are we a bad influence? I doubt it. These guys seem to have been through this a thousand times before.

Road-meister James in his trademark shades.

Matt chills before it's show-time.

Soundman Steve (mid) and James (end) yuk it up with the locals.
